Power Dynamos host Nkana this Saturday at Arthur Davies Stadium, battling to end their two-match losing run in the Kitwe Derby.
Nkana beat Power 2-0 in the first leg played on December 12 at their base across the road in Wusakile, and also won by the same margin away last season at Arthur Davies.
“They beat us at their home ground and they are coming to play at our home ground. We are looking forward to making sure that we beat them here and get three points this time,” coach Mwenya Chipepo said.
Chipepo heads into the final leg hunting for his first win over Nkana after losing on his derby debut five month ago.
Meanwhile, Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi said they are very cautious despite the good run they have recently enjoyed over Power.
“In a derby, everyone wakes up,” Chambeshi said. “So we have to prepare well, go there and do our job.
“This is not a coach’s game, it is the players’ game and I believe in my players.”
The pressure is particularly on Power heading into the biggest date in the FAZ Super League.
Power are sixth on 44 points, five points behind Nkana, and know that a draw or defeat this weekend will end their slim hopes of a top four finish.
The other top four contenders Zanaco is fifth on 46 points and host Indeni 24 hours later.
